Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, secure, cost-effective, and maintainable enterprise software solutions.
- Provide hands-on implementation, troubleshooting, and technical guidance throughout the software lifecycle.
- Define and evolve software architecture strategies aligned with business goals, product direction, and engineering standards.
- Conduct architecture and design reviews to improve system quality and performance.
- Lead technical discussions and mentor senior engineers and architects.
- Identify pragmatic applications of AI, automation, agents, and intelligent workflows in products and engineering operations.
- Promote AI-assisted engineering tools to improve development workflows, code quality, refactoring, testing, and team effectiveness.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and support teams.
- Create and maintain clear architectural documentation and identify and mitigate architectural risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience designing and evolving complex software architectures across multiple domains.
- Proven ability to deliver hands-on solutions and support implementation, troubleshooting, and technical decision-making.
- Strong expertise in at least one modern back-end programming language such as C#, Java, or C++, with willingness to learn new technologies.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL data systems, data modeling, performance considerations, and operations at scale.
- Practical awareness of applying modern AI capabilities to software engineering and product architecture.
- Regular hands-on use of AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or comparable tools.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, multi-platform development, non-functional requirements, and requirements engineering.
- Strong communication, documentation, pragmatic decision-making, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
