Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices and APIs.
- Build and enhance Angular frontends integrated with backend services.
- Implement features end to end from design and development through deployment and support.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain integrations with internal Allianz systems and external services.
- Ensure software quality through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor application performance, stability, and security and provide production support.
Requirements
- Several years of experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, modern backend development, and microservices architecture.
- Strong experience with Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and frontend-backend integration.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP-based services, system integrations, and message routing technologies such as Apache Camel.
- Proficiency with Git, code reviews, pull requests, Maven, IntelliJ, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience with JUnit, Mockito, and preferably Jest, Jasmine, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security.
- Ability to work independently in agile cross-functional teams, communicate technical decisions, troubleshoot complex applications, and use modern AI-powered development tools and workflows.
