Base Salary
$175k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build software platforms supporting large-scale quantitative research operations and portfolio production.
- Develop production-quality C++ systems on Linux.
- Design and implement large-scale distributed systems.
- Apply data structures, algorithms, high-performance application design, and concurrency patterns.
- Research, design, code, test, and deploy firmwide platforms and tooling collaboratively with researchers and portfolio managers.
- Work independently on unique technical challenges with minimal direction.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience writing production-quality C++ code on Linux.
- Strong understanding and experience with Linux system programming fundamentals.
- Ability to develop large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, high-performance application design, and concurrency patterns.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal direction, and proficient in English.
- Python development experience is a plus.
- Experience managing and performing computation on large-scale graph data or working with streaming/dataflow systems is a plus.
- Prior financial-services experience is not required.
