Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate scalable, reliable, and secure production infrastructure across AWS and GCP.
- Lead container platform migrations from ECS to EKS/GKE and enable microservice architectures across multi-cloud environments.
- Architect and operate Kubernetes platforms, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and automation systems.
- Partner with development teams on production readiness, scalability, observability, and microservice-based applications.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, performance, cost-efficiency, SLO/SLI, and incident-response improvements.
- Lead cross-team technical projects, manage dependencies and timelines, and mentor engineers.
- Collaborate with security and compliance partners on IAM Federation, Workload Identity, secrets management, and infrastructure standards.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and conduct postmortems and root cause analyses.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles.
- 3–5 years of production experience with Kubernetes, including EKS and GKE, and related tools such as Helm and Karpenter.
- 3–5 years of experience with AWS and GCP.
- 3–5 years of experience using Terraform for multi-cloud infrastructure.
- At least 5 years of coding experience in Python, Go, or similar languages.
- Experience leading ECS-to-EKS/GKE migrations, microservice enablement, high-impact projects, and operational resilience initiatives.
- Advanced knowledge of CI/CD, Linux systems, networking, distributed systems, databases, caching, observability, security, and compliance.
- Experience with SLOs/SLIs, root cause analysis, incident response, and production reliability practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience in SaaS or high-scale cloud-native environments is preferred.
