Responsibilities
- Establish and evolve QA/testing practices, processes, methodologies, standards, metrics, and best practices.
- Lead QA strategy, test planning, test design, automation, and execution across scrum teams.
- Design, implement, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using various tools and technologies.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automation execution and deployments.
- Perform API testing using approaches and tools such as RestAssured and Postman.
- Guide, motivate, teach, provide feedback to, and resolve conflicts within QA teams.
- Communicate plans, commitments, scope changes, issues, dependencies, and impediments to stakeholders.
- Drive COE initiatives and collaborate with product, operations, development, and cross-functional teams.
- Hire and expand QA teams while managing multiple priorities and adapting to change.
Requirements
- B.Tech or bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with software testing methodologies, automation testing tools, and automation framework development and maintenance.
- Preferred experience with Selenium and Playwright.
- Experience with TestNG, data-driven testing, and BDD frameworks or approaches.
- Proficiency in Java, C#, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automation execution and deployments.
- Experience with API testing, including RestAssured and Postman.
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, teaching, conflict-management, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Internal candidates must have at least 1 year as a highly performing Lead/Coordinator or 2 total years as a highly performing Mouser employee.
