Responsibilities
- Establish and evolve formal QA and testing practices, processes, methodologies, standards, metrics, and best practices.
- Lead QA strategy, test design and planning, automation, and test execution across scrum teams.
- Design, implement, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using various tools and technologies.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automation execution and deployments.
- Perform API testing using approaches and tools such as RestAssured and Postman.
- Guide COE initiatives and communicate plans, commitments, dependencies, impediments, and scope changes to stakeholders.
- Lead, motivate, teach, provide feedback to, manage conflict within, and expand QA teams.
- Collaborate with product owners, operations, development teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to resolve challenges.
Requirements
- B.Tech or a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools, preferably Selenium and Playwright.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining TestNG, data-driven, and BDD automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in Java, C#, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automation execution and deployments.
- Experience with API testing through approaches such as RestAssured and Postman.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, teaching, and conflict-management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, manage multiple tasks, work independently, and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Internal candidates must have at least 1 year as a highly performing Lead/Coordinator or 2 years as a highly performing Mouser employee.
