Responsibilities
- Own development of mobile application products and user-facing features from conception to launch.
- Build features in Kotlin and Spring while contributing across the technology stack.
- Write well-tested, reusable, high-quality code.
- Collaborate with design, product, operations, customer support, growth, and other teams to ship features.
- Participate in release planning and deployment of released builds.
- Evaluate project timelines, set stakeholder expectations, and manage conflicting priorities.
- Mentor and advise team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience building consumer-facing applications.
- Experience owning user-facing features end-to-end from conception to launch.
- Experience developing software in a collaborative, multifunctional, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Kotlin, Java, or a similar backend language.
- Experience working on systems with real-world performance and reliability constraints.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities and stakeholder expectations.
- Preferred: experience with a high-traffic, multiplatform mobile app.
- Preferred: high personal code and development standards, including code review, unit testing, and documentation.
