Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive health and architecture reviews of Axway SecureTransport environments.
Identify and remediate single points of failure, anti-patterns, end-of-life components, and security issues.
Define and execute a remediation roadmap aligned with Axway-supported reference architecture.
Improve deployment simplicity, high availability, disaster recovery, backup and restore processes, and operational resilience.
Harden DMZ and perimeter configurations, including secure relay patterns and reduced inbound exposure.
Patch, upgrade, or re-platform components and evaluate containerized deployment options.
Establish monitoring and alerting for transfer flows, failed transfers, and anomalies.
Create architecture diagrams, configuration standards, operational runbooks, and other documentation.
Lead knowledge-transfer and shadowing sessions for the internal team.

Current Axway SecureTransport certification through Axway University or the SecureTransport product line is mandatory and will be validated.
At least five years of hands-on Axway SecureTransport experience, including deployment, configuration, clustering, and troubleshooting.
Demonstrated experience stabilizing and remediating complex SecureTransport environments.
Deep knowledge of SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, PeSIT, PKI, certificate management, and partner onboarding.
Experience designing high availability, disaster recovery, and operational resilience for enterprise managed file transfer platforms.
Proficiency with Linux administration, networking, DMZ patterns, and database management.
Strong documentation and knowledge-transfer skills.
Financial-services or regulated high-availability environment experience is preferred.
Familiarity with containerized SecureTransport deployment, Axway Transfer CFT, and Axway Sentinel is advantageous.
Experience integrating SecureTransport with enterprise monitoring, scheduling, and ITSM tools is desirable.
