Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end solution architectures and technical designs for assigned projects.
- Translate business and non-functional requirements into services, APIs, integration flows, data models, and technical components.
- Select and apply appropriate architectural, integration, and resilience patterns.
- Define and validate requirements for performance, scalability, availability, security, observability, and disaster recovery.
- Guide development teams through implementation and support critical technical decisions.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, dependencies, and architectural constraints.
- Contribute to estimations, feasibility studies, proofs of concept, vendor evaluations, and technology assessments.
- Promote reuse of platforms, services, components, and integration assets.
- Collaborate with architects, technical leads, engineering teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade integration solutions across Java and/or .NET ecosystems.
- Hands-on solution architecture experience in complex enterprise environments.
- Expertise in Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architecture, microservices, service-oriented architecture, API-first design, and architecture documentation.
- Experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, GraphQL, asynchronous messaging, Apache Kafka, event streaming, change data capture, SOAP/WSDL, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Knowledge of .NET/C# and/or Java/Spring Boot, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, CI/CD tools, SQL and relational databases, and NoSQL technologies.
- Understanding of reliability, security, observability, distributed tracing, logging and monitoring, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and API security.
- Experience using Microsoft Copilot and similar generative AI productivity tools for solution design, development, and code review.
- Strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, requirements analysis, mentoring, facilitation, presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
