Responsibilities
- Engage in pre-sales activities with large customers to influence stakeholders, achieve technical wins, and drive solution selection.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships to support strategic alignment and solution adoption.
- Identify customer issues, collaborate with technical teams, and deliver proofs of concept and product demonstrations.
- Analyze customer situations and advise on how GitHub solutions can address business gaps and pain points.
- Design and develop solutions using GitHub’s platform capabilities to support customer strategic goals.
- Build and deliver content for marketing events and showcase GitHub’s value proposition.
- Develop expertise in GitHub Copilot and GitHub Advanced Security and communicate their capabilities to customers.
- Provide competitive and industry insights across development platforms and AI-assisted software development.
- Collaborate with sales, account management, partners, and technical teams on strategic account plans and customer success.
- Travel to meet customers across France and the wider EMEA region, with occasional travel beyond EMEA.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of technical consulting, technical consultative selling, or related technical, sales, or industry experience; qualifying alternatives include a bachelor’s degree plus 6 years, a master’s degree plus 4 years, or a doctorate plus 2 years.
- Equivalent experience may substitute for the stated education and experience pathways.
- Ability to travel up to 40% throughout France and the wider EMEA region, with occasional travel to locations such as the USA.
- Business-level proficiency in Italian and English.
- Preferred: 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience in digital transformation using software modernization to drive customer outcomes.
- Preferred: 3+ years of business consulting, consultative selling, or customer-facing experience.
- Preferred: 5+ years orchestrating technical, support, or partner teams and resolving implementation blockers.
- Preferred: extensive software development industry experience involving digital transformation, DevSecOps, and information security.
- Preferred: business-level proficiency in French.
