Base Salary
$210k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development of frontend solutions for the SaaS product using modern web development technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with designers and backend developers to create seamless user experiences.
- Optimize frontend performance and accessibility.
- Integrate open-source solutions and troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software components.
- Conduct testing and validation to ensure software performance and reliability.
- Mentor junior frontend developers and review code contributions from external contractors.
- Help the team adopt current frontend technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a frontend developer.
- Strong experience with modern web development frameworks, preferably Next.js and React.
- Strong understanding of CSS and JavaScript or TypeScript, with TypeScript preferred.
- Experience architecting and designing scalable, performant frontend solutions.
- Experience with testing and debugging tools, preferably Jest and Cypress.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Strong product-development problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS experience, CI/CD pipeline experience, enterprise authentication and authorization workflow experience, microservices architecture experience, and customer interaction experience.
