Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core services, APIs, and SDKs for producing, pipelining, and consuming telemetry.
- Build and facilitate usage of service data models with stakeholders using Azure and proprietary technologies.
- Lead architecture, design, and development of high-quality, scalable features and solutions.
- Partner closely with Product Management and other teams to design and refine solutions.
- Drive improvements in areas of service ownership.
- Participate in the on-call rotation to maintain service health.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 7+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud Background Check and applicable customer or government security screening requirements.
- Ability to work with relational databases such as SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Ability to work with semi-structured or NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB and Azure Table/Blob Storage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree with 7+ years of experience or a bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience; an additional qualification lists 6+ years with a bachelor's or master's degree.
