Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications and services using .NET Core and C#.
- Design and maintain SQL Server database objects including stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
- Develop, enhance, support, and tune SSIS packages for ETL and data integration.
- Migrate SSIS workloads to Azure Data Factory or SQL Managed Instance and migrate on-premises SQL Server databases to Azure SQL Managed Instance.
- Analyze .NET, SQL, and SSIS workloads for Azure compatibility and resolve performance, data consistency, and connectivity issues.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using JSON and XML for integration with front-end applications.
- Write clean, documented code and participate in code reviews, automated unit testing, end-to-end testing, continuous integration, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot bugs and performance bottlenecks, optimize backend code and SQL, and maintain system reliability and data integrity.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, front-end developers, and third-party partners on application architecture and delivery.
- Apply object-oriented design, design patterns, software development life cycle practices, and Microsoft operating-system and application-server knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- 10–14 years of relevant work experience, including at least 10 years engineering, delivering, and supporting production software products.
- At least 10 years of experience with .NET Core and C#.
- At least 10 years of extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining SQL Server database objects and SSIS packages for ETL and data integration.
- Required experience with ASP.NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework, C#, SQL Server, SSIS, SQL and SSIS performance tuning, and RESTful API microservices.
- Preferred experience with SQL/NoSQL database design and development, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Git, continuous integration and continuous deployment, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and Kafka for real-time data streaming.
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex technical issues, analyzing problems, working collaboratively, and communicating with stakeholders.
