Base Salary
$160k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead one or more teams of virtual developers using Cognition AI’s Devin or similar coding-agent tools.
- Design and develop GenAI-based products, features, and agents for market products and internal processes.
- Write clean, maintainable, extensible code and collaborate with Engineering and Product Management teams.
- Research, evaluate, document, and socialize emerging GenAI, developer-agent, and coding-assistant technologies.
- Define opportunities for using GenAI to improve products and organizational processes.
- Translate product and feature ideas into technical designs and development tasks.
- Manage task priorities, estimates, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Apply software and security best practices, including object-oriented design patterns, OWASP Top 10, and SOLID design principles.
- Conduct sessions and webinars to disseminate GenAI knowledge throughout the Engineering department.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience with strong backend development competence.
- At least 5 years of experience with .NET or .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and web/REST APIs.
- At least 5 years of experience with React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte and TypeScript.
- At least 4 years of experience with SQL Azure or SQL Server.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Unknit and MSTest.
- AI development experience with large language models, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, prompt engineering, embeddings, vectorization, semantic similarity, and RAG.
- Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Bit, and Visual Studio Code or Visual Studio.
- Preferred experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, Azure, AWS, GCP, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Cursor, Codex, and Devin.
- Strong visioning, communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and communicate with stakeholders from peers through directors and the CTO.
