Base Salary
$130k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship end-to-end full-stack features within a 3–5 person pod, from problem definition through production.
- Develop APIs, integrate external services and databases, and maintain data integrity and security.
- Build responsive, accessible frontend interfaces and AI-powered product capabilities.
- Optimize application performance through caching, efficient algorithms, and database indexing.
- Write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and pod leaders on requirements, UX, design, and scope.
- Provide rotating production support, including on-call coverage and bug triage.
- Evaluate and champion AI tools and engineering practices that improve velocity and quality.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive software development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Full-stack development capability across frontend and backend, with strong systems knowledge including distributed systems, concurrency, APIs, algorithms, and database internals.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and with diagnosing complex issues and optimizing application performance.
- Hands-on experience using AI developer tools such as Cursor or Claude Code for code comprehension, testing, documentation, debugging, and ramp-up.
- Preferred qualifications include experience integrating AI or ML capabilities, third-party AI APIs or frameworks such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or LangChain, and vector databases such as Pinecone.
- Relevant GitHub activity and interest in improving developer workflows with AI.
