Base Salary
$156k - $251k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Braze’s Cloud Data Ingestion and Data Transformation systems.
- Develop scalable web applications with a strong backend focus while delivering frontend experiences end-to-end.
- Drive architectural decisions and contribute to technical strategy.
- Build automated data pipelines, asynchronous processing, or ETL applications.
- Deliver software capable of handling high volumes of data and traffic.
- Collaborate in an agile team environment and incrementally deliver high-quality software.
Requirements
- 6+ years of full-stack development experience building scalable web applications.
- Strong understanding of software design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Track record as a technical leader driving architectural decisions and contributing to technical strategy.
- Experience working in an agile team environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a self-starter mindset.
- Willingness to learn the technologies needed to meet customer requirements.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, Airflow, Sidekiq, SQS, RabbitMQ, Python/Django, React, Ruby on Rails, Snowflake, microservice architecture, distributed systems, modern data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics.
