Base Salary

$169k - $232k/yr

Responsibilities

Establish development standards and collaborate with infrastructure, platform, and software engineering teams.
Conduct code reviews, pair with teammates, and mentor more junior engineers.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and UX to design and build solutions for critical customer and business needs.
Lead large engineering initiatives and course-correct as needed.
Develop, test, stage, deploy, monitor, and support modern web applications at scale.
Build and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery systems at scale.
Apply AI-assisted development workflows across planning, implementation, testing, release, and incident response.

8+ years of experience in software engineering fundamentals, Test Driven Development, and software design concepts.
Professional experience with React, Node.js, Ruby or Ruby on Rails, or Java; experience with Ruby on Rails, Python, JavaScript, Java, Node.js, or similar languages is preferred.
Experience applying agentic SDLC practices, including AI-assisted planning, coding, testing, and release workflows.
Ability to balance technical, analytical, and product goals when formulating solutions.
Experience working with software, platforms, and infrastructure at scale.
Experience leading large initiatives with the ability to course-correct.
Proven expertise in modern web development, including development, testing, staging, deployment, and monitoring.
Experience building modern Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery systems at scale.

Base pay range is $168,560.00–$231,770.00 annually, with potential eligibility for equity and/or bonus incentive compensation.
The position is based in Austin, Texas and requires access to technology, software, and data controlled or restricted under U.S. law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.
