Responsibilities
- Lead the transformation of testing into a continuous, efficient, and end-to-end quality engineering function.
- Lead initiatives to improve testing frameworks and implement testing best practices across projects.
- Develop predictive and intelligent testing approaches using automation tools and testing solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert and manage the team’s performance and delivery.
- Make team decisions and provide solutions across immediate and multiple teams.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key technical and project decisions.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align testing objectives with business goals.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience in automated testing.
- Proficiency in automated testing and Java for test automation scripting.
- Experience with backend test automation.
- Experience with API test automation using the Karate framework.
- Experience with UI test automation using Selenium.
- Experience with Postman or Rest Assured.
- Experience with Behavior Driven Development using Cucumber.
- Experience configuring and integrating automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or an equivalent tool.
- Experience with Git or other version control tools.
- Experience with relational databases and querying tools such as SQL Server.
- 15 years of full-time education.
