Base Salary
$68k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop assigned stories using Java and Spring Boot.
- Perform unit and integration testing using JUnit or Mockito.
- Design and implement microservices end to end.
- Develop APIs using GraphQL or REST.
- Integrate applications with Ping Federation and Apigee.
- Use Git for branch and release management and work with Jenkins and Rancher.
- Create UML diagrams using Visio or draw.io.
- Work in a hybrid arrangement requiring three days per week in a client or Cognizant office in Irving, Texas.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a Java full-stack developer using Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.
- At least 5 years of experience developing GraphQL or REST APIs.
- Experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud.
- Experience designing and implementing end-to-end microservices and containerized applications.
- Experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Git, and Rancher.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Mockito or JUnit.
- Experience integrating with Ping Federation and Apigee.
- Cloud experience with Azure or AWS is preferred.
- Experience with SQL Server and Cassandra or similar databases is preferred.
- Experience with React UI development is preferred.
- Experience creating UML diagrams with Visio or draw.io is preferred.
