Base Salary
$200k - $325k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build new product capabilities and foundational technology in close collaboration with the CTO.
- Guide design decisions and champion user experience based on a deep understanding of users.
- Set foundational system architecture and select key technologies for the codebase.
- Help ship V1 of Serval and deliver the technical and product roadmap.
- Establish engineering best practices and standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a frontend-focused software engineer.
- Experience building new products or systems from the ground up.
- Strong commitment to delivering outstanding user experiences.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Comfort working in a fast-growing startup environment with pace and ambiguity.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
- Experience with TypeScript, gRPC, Go, Kubernetes, React, AWS, or Terraform is nice to have.
- Early-stage startup experience is nice to have.
- Experience building applied AI products is nice to have.
