Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build data and AI systems for capturing, processing, and querying operational and financial data.
- Create AI-powered products that automate work and support decision-making for customers.
- Ensure production quality by making systems reliable, observable, and secure.
- Develop evaluations and feedback loops to measure system performance and customer impact.
- Collaborate with leadership, product, engineering, and support teams to identify and solve valuable problems.
- Make pragmatic technical decisions based on the specific needs of each problem.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior, Staff, or Principal level software engineer.
- Deep knowledge of data architecture, SQL, and data modeling, especially with analytical databases like ClickHouse.
- Experience with distributed and event-driven systems, including failure recovery and schema evolution.
- Track record of shipping AI or ML-powered product features and understanding the full system around the model.
- Familiarity with agentic systems, retrieval, embeddings, and evaluation frameworks for AI agents.
