$235k - $352k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build highly available and fault-tolerant systems for data annotation.
- Productionize core infrastructure for Nuro’s autonomous-driving system.
- Implement data-driven metrics and monitoring to improve label quality.
- Apply machine-learning research to automate and optimize the data-labeling lifecycle.
- Define technical vision, roadmaps, timelines, and prioritization for a team or project.
- Lead cross-team projects supporting reliable, high-quality labeled data and issue triage.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience designing, building, and operating highly scalable and reliable distributed data systems.
- Experience leading cross-team projects and communicating effectively.
- Experience defining technical visions, creating roadmaps, and setting timelines and priorities for a team or project.
- Strong problem-solving and programming skills in Python, C++, or Go.
- Bonus: experience building reliable large-scale distributed systems.
- Bonus: experience with observability, monitoring, and incident management.
- Bonus: experience applying ML research in real-world applications.
- Bonus: experience leading teams and designing and executing team roadmaps.
