Responsibilities
- Implement and customize Gherkin scenarios in Java with Selenium.
- Support testers with SOAP- and REST-based web service testing using appropriate test tools.
- Implement and develop test frameworks and tools such as JUnit, Mockito, and Selenium.
- Generate and manage test data.
- Support defect analysis and test case maintenance.
- Work independently within the test automation team.
- Analyze and evaluate deviations and anomalies in test results.
Requirements
- Experience implementing tests, executing manual and automated testing, and documenting test results.
- Experience testing SOAP- and REST-based web services with tools such as SOAPUI, Insomnia, and Postman.
- Experience implementing automated tests in Java with Selenium.
- Experience applying Scrum and SAFe methodologies and testing in agile environments.
- Experience with test quadrants, Shift Left testing, Behaviour Driven Development, and writing GUI scenarios in Gherkin.
- Practical experience with CI/CD processes, Git, code reviews, and analyzing static test or code-analysis results.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, and testers.
- Analytical skills for investigating and evaluating test deviations and anomalies.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification, such as CTFL or Agile Tester.
- Fluent written and spoken German.
- Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift is advantageous.
- ISTQB Advanced Level certification, such as Test Analyst or Agile Technical Tester, is advantageous.
- English language skills and experience in international, agile, or multinational-company projects are advantageous.
