Base Salary
$176k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and maintenance of large-scale event-driven software- and hardware-in-the-loop testing frameworks.
- Architect and manage end-to-end CI pipelines that automate regression suite execution.
- Lead root cause analysis for complex system-level failures using log-mining scripts and visualization dashboards.
- Perform gap analyses between high-level safety requirements and technical test implementations.
- Develop timing and prioritization patterns and lead validation and clearance for safety-critical monitors, including collision detection systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in the relevant areas, with ownership of 3+ complex projects.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex projects in Python, including AI-based coding for infrastructure, tooling, and automated test writing.
- Deep understanding of HIL and SIL methodologies, including real-time fault injection.
- Experience owning the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated testing pipelines and custom automation plugins using tools such as Bamboo or Jenkins.
- Practical knowledge of Linux internals and networking protocols used in high-throughput real-time systems.
- Strong technical communication skills and the ability to summarize complex test failures and provide impact assessments.
- Strong C++, Pytest customization, autonomous systems or safety-critical robotics validation, Generative AI or Machine Learning tools, data engineering, and real-time communication protocol experience are bonus qualifications.
