Responsibilities
- Deploy with customers on site, with approximately 50% travel, to support software integration and development.
- Become an expert user of the Hivemind enterprise software stack and autonomy modules.
- Develop AI and autonomy applications using Shield AI’s enterprise software development kit.
- Provide customer technical support, training, and assistance with software and API integration issues.
- Support pre-sales activities such as demos, conferences, and immersions.
- Assist with post-sales deployment and integration of Shield AI software products.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to address customer feedback and improve products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field plus 7+ years of industry experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields plus 5+ years of industry experience.
- Strong technical background in software engineering.
- Strong proficiency writing modern C++ code.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred experience in defense, aviation, autonomy, or robotics.
- Preferred prior experience as a customer-facing solutions engineer, application engineer, or sales engineer.
- An advanced technical degree, especially in robotics or autonomy, is preferred.
