Responsibilities
- Architect cloud-native platform capabilities for production machine learning workloads.
- Configure and standardize AWS SageMaker Unified Studio, including domains, projects, blueprints, and persona-based access.
- Build and operate automated MLOps pipelines for data extraction, training, model registration, deployment, and rollback.
- Govern model versioning, lineage tracking, and cross-account promotion through SageMaker Model Registry.
- Configure MLflow to support reproducible experimentation and tracking of parameters, metrics, and artifacts.
- Implement ML identity and access controls using Okta SSO and SailPoint.
- Deliver and monitor real-time and batch prediction workflows, including model performance, drift, and data quality monitoring.
- Own platform observability and operational excellence using CloudWatch, Datadog, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to improve workflows and accelerate delivery of AI solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field related to software engineering, cloud platforms, or machine learning.
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience in cloud infrastructure or ML platform operations.
- At least 4 years of hands-on AWS experience, including SageMaker Studio, Pipelines, Model Registry, Endpoints, and Feature Store.
- At least 3 years of experience building and operating production MLOps pipelines covering training, versioning, deployment, and rollback.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Deep understanding of IAM design for ML, including execution roles, service roles, and cross-account access management.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Advanced SageMaker Unified Studio knowledge, including domain provisioning, custom blueprints, and project standardization, is preferred.
- Hands-on SageMaker Feature Store experience is preferred.
- SageMaker Model Monitor experience with data quality, bias, and drift detection is preferred.
- AWS Machine Learning Specialty certification is a preferred qualification.
