Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, debug, and troubleshoot secure, scalable software solutions.
- Build and maintain production code, algorithms, and Java/Spring Boot microservices.
- Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets, create visualizations and reports, and use insights to improve software applications, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
- Support application testing, operational stability, resiliency, and secure software delivery.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Advanced Java programming skills and strong experience developing microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Java, React, Kafka, Oracle, Aurora, Airflow, Spark, and public and private cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, operational stability, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
- Experience using authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating and refining generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, security expectations, and the ability to guide peers.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle and application resiliency and security practices.
- Preferred familiarity with modern front-end technologies and cloud technologies.
