Base Salary
$121k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop APIs and microservices supporting BaaS onboarding and partner integration.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and promote engineering best practices.
- Develop monitoring, alerting, and observability systems while supporting SLA compliance.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to improve system reliability.
- Create architectural and design documentation and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Refactor and extend the codebase to fix defects and deliver new functionality.
Requirements
- Require 5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least one year in a technical leadership role.
- Demonstrate experience developing secure, standards-compliant software across multiple platforms.
- Have fluency in several listed languages or platforms, including C#, .NET, and SQL, plus hands-on cloud experience.
- Have experience with Azure native services, container technologies, and caching frameworks.
- Understand RESTful API design, OAuth2, OpenAPI specifications, event-driven architectures, and microservice patterns.
- Have hands-on experience with observability dashboards and platforms such as Datadog and Grafana.
- Know Git, DevOps, and security best practices in financial services and compliance standards including PCI DSS and SOC 2.
- Fintech or embedded-finance experience, partner onboarding and SLA familiarity, and open-source or technical publication contributions are preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship and meet the specified location requirement.
