Base Salary
$144k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern front-end applications and back-end services for high-volume, real-time trading experiences.
- Build complex web components and single-page applications using modern front-end technologies.
- Support electronic trading workflows involving equities, options, mutual funds, advanced orders, and complex options strategies.
- Integrate and consume real-time streaming market data.
- Write automated unit tests and perform accessibility testing.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, architects, and Agile teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Improve engineering practices, support accessibility standards, and use AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality and productivity.
- Support application deployment, cloud environments, messaging systems, source control, and build automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of software development experience building enterprise web applications.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Angular, StencilJS, HTML5, and XML.
- Experience developing complex web components and single-page applications.
- Experience supporting electronic trading workflows and integrating real-time streaming market data.
- Experience writing automated unit tests using tools such as Jest and NUnit.
- Working knowledge of object-oriented design principles and relational database concepts.
- Experience with source control and build automation tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Bamboo.
- Experience performing accessibility testing with tools such as AXE Pro and JAWS.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Experience using AI-enabled development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar solutions.
- Preferred experience includes Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, cloud migration, IBM MQ, Solace MQ, MSMQ, RabbitMQ, large-scale regulated enterprise environments, modern software architecture patterns, and distributed systems.
