Base Salary
$100k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality software solutions across multiple technical areas.
- Build rich and complex user interfaces using JavaScript and React.
- Build complex backend applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure software meets design constraints.
- Develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to improve applications and systems.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation while validating their outputs.
- Identify problems and patterns in data to improve coding hygiene, system architecture, resiliency, and security.
- Lead initiatives, mentor junior developers, and contribute to software engineering communities of practice.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Experience developing rich and complex user interfaces with modern JavaScript and React.
- Experience building complex backend applications with Java 11 or later, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Knowledge of software applications and technical processes in areas such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
- Ability to lead initiatives and mentor junior developers.
- Familiarity with modern frontend technologies, especially React, and exposure to cloud technologies.
