Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and maintain performant, cost-efficient, and easy-to-integrate Fashion Store API features.
- Own parts of the user experience and guide engineers in adopting the team’s products.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to optimize processes and tools.
- Manage services end to end, including development, deployment, monitoring, and incident support.
- Contribute to the Fashion Store API, Nova feature flagging and experimentation platform, PR review and support process, and Qkeep query management tool.
- Participate in on-call support approximately once every two months.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience in API programming and architecture, including resolver implementations.
- Backend software engineering experience connecting frontend requests to backend services, particularly in a microservice environment.
- Strong experience with Node.js and GraphQL.
- Knowledge of Python and/or Go is desirable but not required.
- Experience with modern deployment tools and continuous integration and delivery processes.
- Understanding of caching, security, CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to support end-to-end service ownership and periodic on-call responsibilities.
