Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to understand startup requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and advise customers through evaluation, deployment, and expansion.
- Lead technical evaluations and help startups create evaluation frameworks for measuring Claude performance against their use cases.
- Guide founders and startup engineering teams on technical architecture and AI application design.
- Gather startup use cases and deployment patterns and provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
- Travel to customer sites, startup-focused events, and industry conferences for workshops, technical deep dives, and relationship building.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or technical founder with founder-led sales experience.
- Experience working with startups or high-growth technology companies.
- Software engineering or technical founder experience demonstrating strong builder credibility.
- Deep technical proficiency building and scaling AI products and familiarity with AI engineering best practices.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying production LLM-powered applications, including context engineering, evaluation frameworks, and modern AI architectures.
- Strong technical communication skills for translating complex AI concepts into actionable guidance.
- A track record of selling technical products in competitive markets.
- Comfort with Python and familiarity with common LLM frameworks, tools, and integration patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field or equivalent demonstrated preparation.
