Base Salary
$178k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with EMEA Account Executives to co-lead technical sales activities, including demos, requirements discovery, proof-of-concept scoping, and expectation-setting.
- Own security and compliance reviews for EMEA deals, including questionnaires, RFPs, DPAs, data residency, sub-processors, and prospect security, privacy, and legal discussions.
- Explain Envoy’s integration ecosystem, Developer & Integration Platform, and API capabilities to customers building extensions.
- Investigate customer issues through logs and data, isolate product bugs, and escalate them with appropriate technical context.
- Represent EMEA customer needs in roadmap discussions and communicate regional regulatory, cultural, and competitive requirements to Product.
- Train the wider revenue team on SAML, SCIM, OAuth, directory synchronization, and cloud infrastructure.
- Support London-based colleagues with early working hours when EMEA coverage is required.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of EU data protection in enterprise deals, including GDPR, DPAs, data residency, transfer mechanisms, and sub-processor disclosure.
- Comfort with SAML, SSO, SCIM, OAuth, and directory services.
- Understanding of DNS, HTTP, TLS, and certificates, plus intermediate SQL knowledge.
- Strong written and verbal communication with senior technical stakeholders and developers.
- Demonstrated effectiveness working across time zones and cultural contexts.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% annually, including international travel to EMEA, on a per-request basis.
- Preferred: fluency in multiple languages and experience working with technology or alliance partners and channel managers.
- Preferred: ability to learn Ruby on Rails Active Record Query Interface.
- Preferred: understanding of SAML, Active Directory, and SSO access control.
- Preferred: experience installing or configuring IT infrastructure such as switches, routers, VoIP, and wireless systems.
- Preferred: experience with badge or ID printers, physical security, and digital security cameras.
- Preferred: experience completing security reviews and RFPs using Loopio or Whistic.
- Preferred: knowledge of Node, JavaScript, Python, and Kubernetes.
