Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and deliver scalable custom software components across systems and applications.
- Design and execute comprehensive test cases to validate API functionality and performance.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to API behavior and performance.
- Automate API and UI testing using Postman, Rest Assured, and Selenium with Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
- Participate in team discussions, contribute solutions to work-related problems, and work independently as a subject-matter expert.
- Share knowledge with and guide junior team members.
- Continuously update technical knowledge and apply software quality and development best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in API testing is required.
- Proficiency in API testing, including experience with Postman.
- Experience with API automation using Rest Assured.
- Experience with UI automation using Selenium with Java.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot API functionality and performance issues.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages.
- Ability to work within agile teams and contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Completion of 15 years of full-time education is required.
