Responsibilities
- Contribute to real software features, receive code review feedback, merge changes, and deploy to production.
- Build server-side and user-facing applications on top of machine-learning capabilities.
- Design scalable and reusable interfaces, APIs, and services.
- Develop abstractions supporting observability and deployment for the core platform.
- Build data ingestion and processing systems for software products and machine-learning research and development.
- Apply engineering best practices including static type checking, readable code, infrastructure as code, and production-readiness practices.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing, technical discussions, and continuous learning.
Requirements
- Demonstrated core expertise in an area such as distributed computing or one of the technologies used at Kensho.
- Practical understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- Personal projects, open-source contributions, or a portfolio of work.
- Versatility and adaptability to contribute across teams and product areas.
- Effective coding, documentation, and communication habits.
