Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Build responsive Angular interfaces and reusable frontend components.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services and databases.
- Develop and maintain scalable, secure, performant web applications.
- Write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews, and uphold code quality.
- Troubleshoot issues across development, staging, and production environments.
- Support version control, continuous integration, deployment pipelines, monitoring, and performance resolution.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, QA teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Document technical designs, workflows, and deployment procedures.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team success when applicable.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, and Angular version 10 or higher.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and relational and NoSQL database management.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins or similar automation pipelines, and continuous delivery practices.
- Experience with Agile teams and modern software development practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Angular Material, and Bootstrap is preferred.
- Additional experience with Python or C# is preferred.
- Professional Java certification, such as Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 11 Developer, is a plus.
- Experience leading small teams or mentoring junior developers is a plus.
- Experience in financial, technology, or similar enterprise sectors is preferred.
