Responsibilities
- Design and deliver integration work between internal products.
- Write code and review technical designs as an active member of the engineering pod.
- Set day-to-day technical direction and make implementation-level architecture decisions.
- Review code and designs from Senior Engineers and Engineers on the pod.
- Serve as the primary engineering contact for Claude Integration technical questions.
- Partner with the Manager, Software Development and Scrum Master on prioritization and delivery cadence.
Requirements
- Hands-on engineering experience designing, building, and supporting software solutions.
- Experience writing code and reviewing designs as part of an engineering team.
- Daily experience using an AI coding tool such as Claude Code, AWS Kiro, OpenAI Codex, or a comparable tool.
- Proficiency with Python for services and full-stack development experience with Angular or a comparable JavaScript framework.
- Working knowledge of AWS services including Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, and EKS.
- Exposure to the Anthropic Claude API and MCP, or an equivalent LLM provider API and tool-use protocol.
- Experience serving as a technical lead or providing informal technical leadership for an engineering pod.
- Preferred qualifications include production integrations with third-party LLM APIs, LangChain or LangGraph, AI governance or responsible AI practices, evaluation of AI-generated outputs, cross-functional integration work, and GenAI platform improvements.
