Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver scalable, resilient AI solutions involving agentic systems, large language models, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Define enterprise-wide architecture patterns, integration standards, technical direction, and reusable platform capabilities.
- Lead AI-driven legacy-system modernization through automated code transformation, service decomposition, and continuous optimization.
- Design and implement AI-enabled software development lifecycle practices to improve engineering velocity and quality.
- Establish technical standards, governance frameworks, monitoring, evaluation, responsible AI, and other best practices for AI systems.
- Partner with engineering teams and stakeholders to drive adoption of AI-assisted development and improve system performance and productivity.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentorship, and influence over enterprise technology decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 15 years of experience in software engineering.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and large-scale architecture.
- Preferred experience delivering production-grade AI/ML systems at scale, building agentic systems or complex LLM applications, and modernizing complex legacy systems.
- Strong programming expertise in Python, Java, or similar technology preferred.
- Preferred experience with APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, cloud platforms, and CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience establishing enterprise technology standards and influencing technical direction across multiple teams or business domains preferred.
- Experience serving as a technical authority for software engineering practices, architecture, platform strategy, APIs, microservices, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices preferred.
