Responsibilities
- Define the architecture, standards, and integration patterns for shared AI infrastructure and data layers.
- Establish scalable credential management, data access, security, observability, and operability practices.
- Build and maintain integrations across CRM, billing, support, product usage, and other business systems.
- Configure and manage MCP servers and API connections to internal systems.
- Stand up shared hosting infrastructure for agents, automations, and applications in production environments.
- Develop scheduled automations, event-driven workflows, web applications, headless services, and agentic flows.
- Build AI-powered workflows for customer health monitoring, automated alerts, meeting intelligence, and revenue lifecycle automation.
- Work with business stakeholders to refine requirements, define acceptance criteria, and own solutions end to end.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering on shared infrastructure, systems integration, and platform capabilities.
- Maintain reusable repositories of prompts, agents, skills, and workflows and help business teams deploy AI solutions.
- Set technical standards for how AI systems are built, integrated, and maintained across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building production software, applications, APIs, backend services, platform infrastructure, or data integrations.
- Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools such as Devin, Claude, Codex, Cursor, or similar tools in engineering delivery.
- Experience making architectural decisions, setting technical standards, and influencing engineering practices.
- Strong skills in Python or TypeScript/Node.js, with the ability to learn additional technologies as needed.
- Experience building tool-use integrations for AI systems; familiarity with MCP or similar protocols and frameworks is strongly preferred.
- Experience integrating SaaS APIs using REST, webhooks, and OAuth.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and agentic frameworks, including production agents or AI-powered workflows.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders on requirements, acceptance criteria, and translating business intent into software.
- Experience collaborating across product and platform engineering teams.
- Understanding of data classification, access controls, API credentials, compliance requirements, and risk management.
- Experience designing federated data layers, shared integration infrastructure, or multi-system data pipelines is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with SaaS business systems used in revenue, support, or customer success operations is a strong plus.
- Background in Customer Success, RevOps, or B2B SaaS is a strong plus.
- Experience incorporating security, compliance, data classification, and risk assessment into AI-powered systems is a strong plus.
