Responsibilities

  • Define the architecture, standards, integration patterns, credential management practices, and data access models for shared AI infrastructure.
  • Build foundational data and integration layers, business-system integrations, MCP server and API connections, and shared hosting infrastructure.
  • Develop scheduled automations, event-driven workflows, AI-powered workflows, web applications, headless services, and agentic flows.
  • Work with business stakeholders to refine requirements and acceptance criteria, then own solution delivery from build through iteration.
  • Collaborate with Product Engineering on shared infrastructure, systems integration, and platform capabilities.
  • Establish technical standards for secure, observable, operable, and reusable AI systems across the organization.
  • Maintain shared repositories of prompts, agents, skills, and workflows and help business teams deploy AI solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years building production software, including applications, APIs, backend services, platform infrastructure, or data integrations.
  • Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools such as Devin, Claude, Codex, or Cursor as part of engineering delivery.
  • Experience making architectural decisions, setting technical standards, and influencing how an engineering organization builds.
  • Strong Python or TypeScript/Node.js skills and the ability to learn additional technologies as needed.
  • Experience building tool-use integrations for AI systems; MCP or similar protocols and frameworks are strongly preferred.
  • Experience integrating SaaS APIs using REST, webhooks, and OAuth.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and agentic frameworks, including production agents or AI-powered workflows.
  • Ability to work with business stakeholders on requirements, acceptance criteria, and translating business intent into software.
  • Experience collaborating across product and platform engineering teams.
  • Understanding of data classification, access controls, API credentials, compliance requirements, and risk management.
  • Preferred experience with federated data layers, shared integration infrastructure, or multi-system data pipelines.
  • Preferred familiarity with SaaS business systems used in revenue, support, or customer success operations.
  • Preferred background in Customer Success, RevOps, or B2B SaaS.
  • Preferred experience incorporating security, compliance, data classification, and risk assessment into AI-powered systems and automations.
