Responsibilities
- Design and build ABAP Cloud applications that embed LLM-driven intelligence into SAP business processes.
- Implement AI-enabled SAP extensions using RAP, event-driven patterns, and cloud-native architectures.
- Integrate LLMs, embeddings, retrieval pipelines, enterprise APIs, and SAP and non-SAP data sources.
- Build agentic workflows involving tools, planners, memory, orchestration, evaluation loops, chunking, indexing, and context assembly.
- Develop prompts, grounding strategies, fallback logic, safety boundaries, evaluation frameworks, authorization controls, and observability.
- Prototype, demonstrate, and iterate on AI solutions before scaling them into secure, compliant, enterprise-grade SAP production systems.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of professional experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP Cloud, including RAP, CDS, OData, and clean core principles.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI services into applications.
- Experience building RAG pipelines, embeddings, and contextual retrieval systems.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including software design and testing.
- Ability to translate business problems into AI-enabled SAP solutions.
- Experience with SAP BTP, eventing, APIs, and cloud services is strongly beneficial.
- Familiarity with agent frameworks or custom orchestration logic is strongly beneficial.
- Exposure to vector databases, search, or semantic indexing is strongly beneficial.
- Knowledge of enterprise security, authorization, and compliance patterns is strongly beneficial.
