Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build distributed systems.
  • Own software delivery end to end, from requirements scoping and technical design through implementation, testing, launch, and operational monitoring.
  • Use AI-assisted coding, multi-agent workflows, and agentic code review tools in software delivery.
  • Build and maintain agentic systems focused on correctness, latency, and self-improvement loops.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, resolve incidents, reduce MTTR, contribute to postmortems and preventive actions, and build tooling to reduce operational workload.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, data and applied scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders across the fee lifecycle.
  • Write design documents and architecture proposals and participate in architectural discussions.
  • Review code, mentor peers, and help junior engineers grow through pairing, design reviews, and documentation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 1+ year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred: experience with machine learning and large language model fundamentals, including model architecture, training and inference lifecycles, and model execution optimization, or experience in computer architecture.
