Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Solve challenging technical problems across the software stack, including distributed-systems challenges.
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative software solutions.
- Build secure, performant, highly available, always-on products.
- Automate repetitive operational processes and improve software architecture and team efficiency.
- Analyze and improve system performance while balancing scalability, performance, and cost.
- Create metrics, resolve root causes of software defects, and deliver high-impact solutions to customers.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical communication with stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience with design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
