Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop LLM-powered and agentic shopping experiences for Amazon’s BuyForMe product.
  • Contribute code, technical vision, architecture, and development practices.
  • Deliver customer-facing capabilities and high-quality software artifacts.
  • Work on recommendation and personalization systems.
  • Collaborate with product, science, and design teams to create customer solutions.
  • Help raise the team’s engineering culture and grow talent.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
  • 1+ year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • 1+ year of Object-Oriented Design experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
