Responsibilities
- Assess project context and business and engineering needs before AI rollouts.
- Identify, implement, and operationalize AI practices, tools, agents, and other solutions that create measurable value.
- Help delivery teams integrate AI practices into development, testing, QA, and operational workflows.
- Facilitate workshops, onboarding, and enablement sessions for engineers and project stakeholders.
- Adapt reference solutions and accelerators, provide post-rollout support, and resolve adoption or technical issues.
- Measure adoption, collect feedback, and share lessons learned with the AI R&D function.
- Create reusable rollout playbooks, patterns, documentation, and guidance.
- Work across product ownership, project management, engineering, QA, and operations without becoming a permanent project dependency.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and software delivery lifecycle experience covering architecture, APIs, testing, maintainability, and production software.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development, AI agents, agentic workflows, and LLM API or model integration.
- Experience translating business and engineering requirements into pragmatic implementation opportunities and working with stakeholders in a consulting capacity.
- Experience with AI system evaluation and testing, software quality practices, production support, troubleshooting, observability, and monitoring.
- Understanding of security, privacy, and responsible AI considerations.
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, with comfort handling ambiguity, context switching, ownership, and autonomy.
- Preferred experience with LLM-based application development, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, tool/function calling, MCP, API design and integration, data pipelines, data management, containers, and cloud-native development.
- Preferred experience with AI coding assistants and AI-enabled development workflows.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript or TypeScript, Java, .NET, or similar languages is preferred.
