Responsibilities
- Build production services and APIs in Python using FastAPI or a comparable framework.
- Develop corresponding UI features using Angular or a comparable JavaScript framework.
- Implement features based on designs from senior engineers, team leads, or the manager.
- Build and integrate features using AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, and EKS.
- Support integrations with the Anthropic Claude API and Model Context Protocol.
- Contribute to AI governance capabilities involving explainability, observability, and prevention.
- Write tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain clean, reliable code.
- Estimate work and identify risks, dependencies, and scope concerns early.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of solid engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience shipping production code.
- Daily hands-on experience using an AI coding tool such as Claude Code, AWS Kiro, or OpenAI Codex.
- Working proficiency in Python and Angular or a comparable JavaScript framework.
- Familiarity with FastAPI or a comparable Python web framework and basic relational database use such as PostgreSQL.
- Basic familiarity with AWS compute and serverless services and patterns.
- Baseline AI literacy, including evaluating AI outputs and using AI responsibly.
- Preferred: exposure to LangChain, LangGraph, or a comparable agentic framework.
- Preferred: direct exposure to LLM-backed products, APIs, or generative AI platform features.
- Preferred: interest in agentic frameworks, AI governance patterns, and cloud-native generative AI delivery.
- Preferred: familiarity with Agile engineering practices, testing discipline, and collaborative delivery.
