Responsibilities
- Drive complex feature enhancements and architecture improvements.
- Design cross-platform components, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Build and maintain Java-based backend and web applications.
- Resolve high-tier customer escalations through debugging and hotfix engineering.
- Use Maven, Ant, Gradle, and Jenkins for build automation.
- Apply AI-assisted development and multi-agent workflows to new capabilities, refactoring, upgrades, and vulnerability patching.
- Review AI-generated code for architectural alignment, design quality, and performance bottlenecks.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Core Java, object-oriented design patterns, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and iBatis.
- Hands-on experience building APIs and XML/SOAP web services.
- Expertise with PostgreSQL is an additional qualification.
- Experience with React, Angular, JavaScript, and jQuery for Java web development.
- Experience using Maven, Ant, Gradle, and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and general cybersecurity is highly preferred.
- Expertise using AI code-assistance tools such as Claude and Cursor, with an understanding of AI-assisted, spec-driven development and agent orchestration.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and review AI-generated code critically.
