Responsibilities
- Own and define the Salesforce architecture roadmap in alignment with enterprise technology and business strategies.
- Design scalable solutions using Salesforce out-of-the-box capabilities, including Flows, Dynamic Forms, Approval Processes, OmniStudio, Einstein AI, and Platform functionality.
- Evaluate and implement Salesforce AppExchange applications, managed packages, and third-party plugins.
- Lead architecture and design sessions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and future Salesforce initiatives.
- Establish integration patterns and oversee Salesforce integrations with external systems using REST APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Provide architectural leadership, governance, and mentorship to Salesforce administrators, developers, and technical leads.
- Drive platform optimization, security, data architecture, compliance, scalability, and performance best practices.
- Review and approve solution designs for adherence to Salesforce standards and long-term maintainability.
- Support release management, environment strategy, and deployment governance with DevOps and delivery teams.
- Reverse engineer existing Salesforce platform designs and recommend alignment with Salesforce out-of-the-box best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive Salesforce experience, including significant solution and platform architecture experience.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce Platform.
- Experience maximizing Salesforce out-of-the-box functionality while reducing unnecessary customization.
- Strong experience selecting and implementing AppExchange applications, managed packages, and Salesforce ecosystem solutions.
- Expert knowledge of Salesforce security architecture, sharing models, role hierarchies, permission sets, governance, and compliance.
- Extensive experience designing enterprise integrations using REST APIs, middleware platforms, and integration best practices.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce data architecture, master data management, large data volumes, and performance optimization.
- Working knowledge of Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components sufficient to guide technical decisions and development teams.
- Experience leading technical teams and collaborating with executive stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD tools such as Gearset.
- Salesforce Application Architect and/or Salesforce System Architect certification is required.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certification is highly preferred.
- Experience leading enterprise Salesforce transformation initiatives and multi-cloud implementations.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and AI-powered Salesforce capabilities.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, governance models, technology roadmaps, and integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Workato.
- Experience supporting global Salesforce organizations with complex business processes and large user communities.
