Responsibilities
- Build highly scalable distributed full-stack solutions that support user experiences and business growth.
- Design and deliver end-to-end integration solutions using Angular, Java, Spring Boot, Oracle, and CI/CD.
- Develop modular Java applications, APIs, database solutions, and reliable REST and SOAP services.
- Conduct design and code reviews and ensure coding, testing, security, scalability, and maintainability standards.
- Own code quality, development, testing support, production support, implementation, and on-call activities.
- Identify system issues and improvement opportunities, establish standard operating procedures, and improve existing codebases.
- Define architecturally sound solution designs, estimate development efforts, and support delivery planning.
- Collaborate with designers, front-end and back-end engineers, colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements, internal controls, corporate policies, code of conduct, and compliance policies.
Requirements
- 15+ years of overall IT experience with Java, Spring Boot, CloudSQL, and GCP.
- Extensive experience with APIs, web and microservices, REST, SOAP, and API contract design using RAML or Swagger.
- Strong knowledge of API integration, service-oriented architecture, modular Java application and API development, and databases.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases, ideally Cloud SQL.
- Experience in solution design, architecture, development, networking concepts, firewalls, proxy servers, gateways, and cloud platforms.
- Proven ability to define and build architecturally sound solution designs and estimate development efforts and delivery plans.
- Python experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder communication, negotiation, delivery, and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts and provide on-call support.
