Responsibilities
- Produce architecture and design specifications for software spanning multiple devices and platforms.
- Create detailed technical designs for mobile products and applications.
- Deliver proofs of concept and estimates for integrations and technology choices.
- Guide senior developers and code complex frameworks or integrations.
- Lead software design and code reviews for quality and standards adherence.
- Mentor team members and provide cross-team training and consultation.
- Work across teams to ensure interoperability among products.
- Participate in software development from design through release.
- Propose creative solutions that balance risk, complexity, effort, and requirements.
Requirements
- 12+ years of enterprise product development experience.
- Experience developing web-based platforms and applications.
- Strong programming and debugging skills with hands-on Java, J2EE, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS experience.
- Knowledge of OScript and Content Server is preferred.
- Expertise with SQL Server, Oracle, HANA, and PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience building and consuming web services using RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of performance and security in mobile and enterprise contexts.
- Experience with responsive design and UI development.
- Proficiency with SOAP, WSDL, XML, XML Schema, and XPath.
- Strong object-oriented development and enterprise application-building experience.
- Strong understanding of application architecture, high- and low-level design, middleware/application servers, and infrastructure.
- Ability to review product architectural documents and identify potential issues.
- Experience contributing to Agile process improvement and liaising across multiple geographies.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
