Technical Architect
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Own end-to-end integration architecture, including layering, canonical models, security baselines, nonfunctional requirements, and deployment topology.
- Design API-led architectures, eventing strategies, saga and compensation patterns, idempotency, observability, and error handling for enterprise integrations and autonomous AI ecosystems.
- Lead requirements-gathering and design workshops with customer technical, business, executive, and enterprise architecture stakeholders.
- Produce architectural blueprint documents and secure design sign-off across customer architecture, security, DevOps, and SRE functions.
- Review consultant-produced code and design artifacts and enforce MuleSoft and customer standards.
- Own technical risk, drive mitigations, and support scope, change-request, and effort re-estimation activities.
- Lead performance, high-availability, disaster-recovery, and pre-production hardening cycles.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience architecting integration solutions, including at least 3 years specifically with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Mule 4.
- Active MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect Level 1 certification is required; MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect Level 1 is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience leading at least two end-to-end MuleSoft implementations from design through go-live.
- Hands-on experience with cloud and Runtime Fabric deployment topologies, hybrid deployments, and pipelines into Anypoint Platform.
- Demonstrable experience with high availability, fault tolerance, performance testing, and enterprise-scale performance tuning.
- Ability to lead technical workshops with C-level and Enterprise Architect audiences and independently manage engagement governance.
- Preferred experience includes Apigee, IBM, Boomi, TIBCO, Oracle Fusion, Kong, MuleSoft AI technologies, LLM APIs, event-driven architectures, Anypoint MQ, Kafka, Solace, Anypoint Platform organization setup, Salesforce Agentforce, and generative integration applications.
- MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 or Level 2, TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture framework familiarity, and experience with international cross-functional teams are preferred.
- Working English is required; additional regional languages may be needed for specific engagements.
- Ability to travel regionally or internationally 10–25% as required by the engagement.
